When TestGorilla may suit you better
If you want AI interviews or other features beyond a test library, or you test large numbers of candidates every month and a subscription works out cheaper, TestGorilla may be the better fit.
Both let you test candidates before you interview. The biggest differences are in the terms: how you pay, whether credits expire and what each plan includes. Here is how they compare, checked against TestGorilla’s own website.

THE TERMS, SIDE BY SIDE
We compare four terms that change what you pay and how you work: commitment, credit expiry, integrations and test languages. Each TestGorilla fact links to the page we read it on.

TestGorilla offers things we do not, including AI interviews, video questions, job simulations and a separate candidate sourcing product. If you need those, it may suit you better. If you want a straightforward test library with no subscription, Test Candidates may suit you better.
TestGorilla is a trade mark of its owner. Test Candidates is not connected with TestGorilla. Every TestGorilla fact above comes from its own website on the date shown, and terms can change, so check its site before you decide. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
TESTS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES
Our test suite includes English and translations across 13 languages. Choose the language that fits the role and your candidates.
Language availability varies by test and level. Check the available options when selecting your tests.

CHOOSING AND USING YOUR ASSESSMENT
Which suits which kind of team, and what to ask any testing provider.
If you want AI interviews or other features beyond a test library, or you test large numbers of candidates every month and a subscription works out cheaper, TestGorilla may be the better fit.
If you hire now and then, do not want a subscription, want integrations without moving to a higher plan, or need tests in your candidates’ own language, Test Candidates may be the better fit.
Is there a minimum term, and is it billed in advance? Do unused credits expire? Which plan includes integrations and the API? Are the tests themselves translated, or only the screens around them? The answers often matter more than the headline price.

It depends on how many candidates you test. With no subscription, you pay only for the results you unlock, which often suits teams that hire now and then. If you test large numbers of candidates every month, a subscription can work out cheaper per candidate. Check our pricing page to compare.
